The first idea was a solution that allows people in remote areas who have low access to the internet and sophisticated devices to benefit from telemedicine. We mentioned replicating something similar to what banks and financial services do with their USSD service.

The second idea was a solution that addresses the problem of inadequate adherence to proper treatment procedures among patients. We mentioned that most people self-diagnose, and go ahead to treat themselves without proper medical consultation and testing. This can often lead to complications or problems like antimicrobial resistance. We were able to identify factors that contribute to this gap: lack of awareness, laziness, lack of funds, time.

The third was a solution that addresses the problem of inadequate protection for patient’s data. Dayo proposed using blockchain technology to build this solution. @Oluwadayomisi Osisanya we didn’t have time to speak on…

I’ve been unavailable because we were completely cut off from power supply 🤦🏾‍♀️

We were supposed to submit an assignment after last week’s sessions. I know we were supposed to work on it as a group. Have you already done that individually? If no, then I think we should get to it as a group then. We talked about some ideas on Wednesday last week. We can expand on that and see where we can go from there.
